Polls show: Conservatives are happier than liberals!

Welcome to the Lincoln County
Republican Party Web Site!

The mission of the Lincoln County Republican Party is to elect, re-elect and support Republican candidates for elective office and to further the principles and ideals of the Republican Party.

As Republicans, we want to scale back government, in Kemmerer, Cheyenne and Washington.  Our Constitution calls for government “to promote the general welfare,” not “to provide the general welfare. “   In 1994, the Republican Contract with America called for “Correction Tuesdays” whereon congress would actually abolish outdated government programs and repeal onerous laws.  Those Republicans failed to live up to that Contract.  In 2012 The Lincoln County Republican Party hereby calls on all Republican candidates to pledge to halt the growth of our county, state and national governments and to stop pillaging the pocketbooks of struggling American families.

Lincoln County's MARTI HALVERSON was elected Wyoming National Committeewoman to the Republican National Committee!  She ran at the 2012 convention of the Wyoming Republican Party on April 14th and was elected overwhelmingly!

“You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich”
“You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.”
“You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.”
“You cannot lift the wage earner by pulling the wage payer down.”
“You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.”
“You cannot build character and courage by taking away men’s initiative and Independence.”
“You cannot help men by doing for them that which they could and should do for themselves.”

BARRY M. GOLDWATER, JR. - REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE, 1964

“I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size.”
“I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom.”
“It is not to inaugurate new programs, but to cancel old ones that do violence to the Constitution, or that have failed in their purpose, or that impose on the people an unwarranted financial burden.”
“My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.”
“I will not attempt to discover whether legislation is ‘needed’ before I have first determined whether it is constitutionally permissible.”

RONALD WILSON REAGAN - 41ST PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES

"The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they're ignorant; it's just that they know so much that isn't so."
"The taxpayer: That's someone who works for the federal government but doesn't have to take the civil service examination."
"The nearest thing to eternal life we will ever see on this earth is a government program."
"Liberal’s view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it."
"The most terrifying words in the English language are: I'm from the government and I'm here to help."
